A Persian Weekend.
Mahsa and Behrad moved to Michigan from Tehran, Iran for work and school. From the start of the graduate program, Mahsa and I quickly became close friends, eventually living together on campus.
After graduation, our small group from the CMF program—and even I on a separate visit—spent weekends at Mahsa’s home. Visiting her comes with one guarantee: you will eat a lot of incredible Persian food. Through her beautifully prepared dishes, she shares a piece of her culture, creating an experience that feels both welcoming and unforgettable..
